Color Printing Quality:

Print color copies cheapest on budget paper.

For the cheapest color copy prices, print on the 20/50# Laser Bond paper. This is basic copy paper like you would find in a walk-in copy shop and gets the best high-volume color printing discount.

Bond paper has an uncoated surface, which subjects the print output to the natural grains and fibers of the paper. This makes it ideal for high-volume printing but is not recommended for projects where the color, photos or graphics need to look their best since the surface fibers can be fairly noticeable under solid toner coverage.

Color printing looks best on glossy paper.

Print color copies on glossy paper for the most vibrant colors and graphics. This also eliminates show-through to the backside when printing double-sided. We recommend color printing on the 32/80# Text Gloss or 100# Text Gloss. These heavy papers feature a semi-gloss finish, heavyweight and thickness, and eliminate show through to the backside.
